Great sleeper guitars! I have three and am retired, so downsizing to just the beat up one that I leave out. USA made and built in New York by the Favilla family. ![]() Has a translucent red finish all over that lets the pretty grain shine through, various small bumps and nicks along the top edge, a small ding on the back, a couple smaller than rice size depressions in the top, a few finish checks along the bottom edge of the bottom bout. Super sweet solid mahogany classical, folk or songwriter guitar. Height at 6th string at 12th fret is 3.5mm, 1st is 3mm. Low action with plenty of saddle showing. According to the Favilla website, it is one of a single order of 100. This is a fairly rare guitar, imported from Japan by the Favilla Guitar Company of New York during the 1960s and early 1970s. Top bout is 10 7/8 inches, bottom bout is 14 1/4 inches, neck is a comfortable flattened C shape, body is 4" deep at the bottom bout.
